HOLIDAY CLASS LUNCHEON - 2005

The North Hills High School Class of 1960 held its inaugural Holiday Luncheon on Saturday, December 17, 2005, at Kretzler's Bar and Restaurant on Babcock Boulevard. The gala gathering of old classmates and friends started at 11:30 AM, and the crowd of over 30 mates and spouses, along with a few out-of-towners, carried on until nearly 3:00 PM.

Don Dieter planned, coordinated, and hosted this very well received event.

Following the greetings and early Happy Hour, the luncheon menu was offered, orders placed and food served. In no way did the food service disrupt the constant enthusiastic buzz of conversation of old mates reconnecting with old mates. It was obvious that Kretzler's beefed up staff was prepared to service and accommodate, as they placed our group of 30 plus 63-year-old kids in their private dining room and did an excellent job.

Based on the constant volume of noisy conversation, laughter, and the sight of perpetual "mingling-in-motion," a good time was had by all. Host Don Dieter was saluted by his classmates for providing the opportunity to get together, and for making this gathering, probably, just the first of many more to come.

The success of the Holiday Luncheon has already led to speculation of another event being planned in the spring of 2006. Check your class website for more information and future news.

PICTURES OF THE EVENT ARE POSTED ON THE "PHOTO ALBUM TAB" ON THE CLASS WEBSITE ( www.nhhs60.com ).
