RALPH KARN PASSES AWAY AFTER LONG ILLNESS...

Classmate, friend and all-around "good guy" Ralph Karn passed away on April 4, 2008. His health had been in steady decline over a number of months as he suffered from progressive supranuclear palsy.

Ralph was retired and a very popular and well respected Speech and English teacher and Forensics coach at Bethel Park and Keystone Oaks School Districts. He served on many boards and committees, was an active member of his church and belonged to the Rotary Club where he was a past President and Rotarian of the Year.

A look at his PP-G obituary guest book and the multitude of written tributes confirm his positive, kind and caring nature. He touched and impacted the lives of many -- students, peers and friends. To be remembered in such good spirit is a legacy in itself and a legacy of which to be very proud and one not soon to be forgotten.

Ralph is survived by his wife Carole, two children and five grand children. A memorial service was held at the Christ United Methodist Church in the South Hills on April 8, 2007. If you wish to send a card or condolences to Carole and family the address is: 5184 Orchard Avenue, Bethel Park, PA 15102...
