CLASS OF '60 LOSES TWO MORE CLASSMATES...

JOHN "JACK" EMERY... Tall, good looking and quiet, best described Jack Emery. Our friend passed away peacefully on December 2, 2011. Jack was 69-years-old and resided in Grove City, PA. His passion for cars led to ownership of the Emery Tire & Care Center on McKnight Road. Later-on during his working career, Jack was involved in several other ventures including, a gas/convenience store business, and the opening of a delicatessen in Mars, PA, which he named, "Crabby Jack's Strip District Deli." He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was a member of the North Hill Lodge #716 F&A.M.. Jack was also a former member of the Wildwood Country Club. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Gipson Emery, a son, and a host of loving relatives. Funeral arrangements were handled by the Schellhaus Funeral Home.

RALPH "SLEEPY-G" DOEHLA... If you knew Ralph Doehla you loved him. If you didn't know him, you would have loved him if you'd met him. Ralph was that kind of a carefree, honest, and up-front type of guy. He had a most subtle and unique sense of humor. Ralph Doehla, 69, of Baden, PA, died January 4, 2012, at the Good Samaritan Hospice House, from medical issues related to cancer and liver problems. He was a retired salesman, who worked for Virgo Manufacturing Corp. During "Dole's" days at NHHS, he was a member of the North Hills Marching Band and a valued member of the Indians wrestling team, his junior and senior years. He was an avid golfer and member of the Baden American Legion. Ralph is survived by his wife, Nikki Spears Doehla, a step-son, Craig Deeb, and a sister. At Ralph's request, there was no visitation or service. The family was assisted by John Syka Funeral Home of Ambridge...
